About the Event

The New Zealand Government is focused on enabling private capital flows towards climate and nature solutions from a broader range of sources, including through the use of voluntary nature credit markets.

The NZ sustainable finance taxonomy (NZ Taxonomy), currently under development, is a standardised framework that will set expectations for the environmental performance of economic activities. This enables capital providers to mobilise and direct capital towards eligible economic activities. The NZ Taxonomy will give financial market participants clarity and confidence on environmental performance of economic activities.

In this webinar, Matt Cowie, Partner, Climate Change and Sustainability Services at EY, and Andy Reisinger,  Co-chair of the NZ Taxonomy Technical Expert Group, will discuss how the NZ Taxonomy can support the Government’s objective.
