Our April edition is not to be missed, as Leigh Mackender, Managing Director of Service Stream, joins us. Service Stream designs, constructs, operates, and maintains infrastructure networks, and provides services to the telecommunications, utilities, and transport industries.

After the short interview, Chris Hestelow, Allan Gray Australia's Investment Specialist, together with our Analyst Tim Morrison and Orbis Investment Specialist Eric Marais, will explore all of our Funds' recent performance and provide portfolio updates. 	Leigh Mackender - Managing Director, Service Stream Leigh Mackender joined Service Stream when it acquired the AMRS (now Energy and Water) in February 2008. Prior to being appointed Managing Director, Leigh was responsible for overseeing the Energy and Water business’ national operations which includes metering, asset inspection and in-home services divisions operating across the electricity, gas and water markets. Leigh has over 15 years of extensive experience working within the industrial services sector and held various roles in private and public businesses specialising in the development and implementation of business strategy, operational management, financial analysis, business development and commercial negotiations. Leigh is a member of the Health, Safety, Environment and Sustainability Committee. Leigh has no other listed company directorships and has held no other listed company directorships in the last three years.
	Tim Morrison - Analyst, Allan Gray Australia Tim joined Allan Gray in 2015. He was previously an analyst at Sydney-based fund manager, Dakota Capital. He has a Bachelor of Commerce/Law (Dean’s Honour Roll for Commerce) from the University of Queensland and is a CFA Charterholder.
	Eric Marais - Investment Specialist, Orbis Investments Eric Marais joined Orbis in 2013. Eric brings the deep insights and analysis from our global investment teams directly to Australian institutional and retail clients. Before moving to Australia in 2023, Eric held client-facing responsibilities for Orbis in the US, and prior to that spent 8 years in Orbis' US investment team analysing stocks across all sectors. Before joining Orbis, Eric worked as an investment analyst at Allan Gray Proprietary Limited, Orbis' sister company in Cape Town, and as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company.
	Chris Hestelow - Investment Specialist, Allan Gray Australia Chris joined Allan Gray in 2019 as a Research Associate, before moving into a Relationship Manager role in 2020 and becoming Investment Specialist in 2023. Prior to joining Allan Gray, Chris worked at BT Financial Group, where he held a number of management roles across the Insurance and Superannuation businesses. Chris holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Sydney University, with majors in Economics and Finance. He is currently a Level 3 candidate in the Chartered Financial Analyst program.
