Bringing the Strengthened Quality Standards to life

This is a webinar for aged care providers. The Strengthened Quality Standards will replace the current Aged Care Quality Standards on 1 July 2025. Hosted by Commissioner, Liz Hefren-Webb, we will explore:

• key differences between the current Aged Care Quality Standards and the new Strengthened Standards
• how compliance with the Strengthened Quality Standards will be a condition of registration in the new Aged Care Act for providers registered in categories 4, 5, 6
• how the Commission monitors registered providers compliance with their conditions of registration, including compliance with the Strengthened Quality Standards.

We hope at the end of this webinar, providers will:

• understand how the Strengthened Quality Standards can guide the provision of safe, high-quality care, and what they can do to prepare for implementation
• understand how the Commission will monitor compliance with conditions of registration, including the Strengthened Quality Standards
• know where to go for more information, education and guidance.
